Beautiful homes, surrounded by nature, where the Trex deck is the Signature element. This project combined custom-designed CGI homes with in-studio model photography, and the result was beautiful images of lived-in outdoor spaces.

THE PROCESS

The main challenge of this project was creating imagery without an actual product to shoot. Trex needed to fast-track product imagery even before seeing a sample of the new boards themselves. We designed two custom 3D houses, each with a beautiful Trex deck. After finalizing the CGI backgrounds, we shot models in-studio to match lighting, angles, and camera placement. The two images were then composited together to create a set of product photography without ever leaving our studio.
